Josef Umenberger currently holds the psotion of Area Executive Chef for Banyan Tree Bintan and Angsana Bintan Resorts, heading a team of over 70 chefs & 25 stewards. He oversees food & beverage production for all signature food outlets as well as in-villa dining. Josef built his expereince in hotels & cruise lines around the world such as Royal Viking Line, Frankfurt Marriott Hotel, J.W. Marriott, Hyatt, Shangri-la Hotels and has been with Banyan Tree Hotels & Resort since 2006.
